Read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally, and our Terms of Use.
About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on 2ndcourt.com and on the 2ndCourt web platform. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

Our full company details, including registered address and registration number, are set out in the Terms of Use. For anything relating to cookies or data protection, write to us at support@2ndcourt.com.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used.
We use "cookies" in this policy as shorthand for cookies and comparable technologies, including browser local storage, session storage, software development kits, tracking pixels and similar identifiers. The rules described here apply to all of them.
Cookies set by 2ndcourt.com are first-party cookies. Cookies set by a service we embed, for example a payment provider or an analytics tool, are third-party cookies.
Categories of cookies we use
We group cookies into four categories.
Necessary Always active Required for the platform to work. They handle sign-in and session security, load balancing, protection against bots and fraud, secure payment processing, and remembering your cookie choices. Without them, core features such as registration, logging in and paying would not function. These cookies cannot be switched off through our consent banner.
Preferences Consent required Remember choices you make so the platform behaves the way you expect, for example your language and country setting, or the state of the support chat window.
Statistics Consent required Help us understand how the platform is used in aggregate: which pages people open, which features get used, where journeys break. We use this to fix problems and prioritise product work.
Marketing Consent required Used to measure the performance of our campaigns and, where relevant, to show you 2ndCourt content on other platforms. These cookies may build a profile of your interests and may be read across different websites.
The full list of cookies
The complete, current list of cookies on our site, including each cookie's name, provider, purpose, storage duration and type, is maintained automatically and published below.
Cookiebot cookie declaration — the Cookiebot declaration script renders the live cookie table at this position.
The list is regenerated whenever our site is rescanned, so it stays accurate as we add or remove tools. If you would prefer to receive the list in another format, contact us at support@2ndcourt.com.
Your consent and the legal basis for using cookies
Necessary cookies are stored on the basis that they are strictly required to provide the service you have requested, as permitted under the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2), which implements the EU ePrivacy Directive.
All other cookies, meaning preferences, statistics and marketing, are stored only after you have given your consent. The legal basis for the related processing of personal data is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
We manage consent through Cookiebot, a consent management platform provided by Usercentrics. When you first visit the site, a banner lets you accept all categories, reject everything that is not necessary, or choose category by category. Cookies in the categories you decline are not set. We store a record of your choice, including a timestamp and the categories selected, so that we can demonstrate that valid consent was obtained.
Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, with no effect on the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
On our site:: open the cookie settings link in the site footer to reopen the consent banner and adjust your choices.
In your browser:: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking necessary cookies will stop parts of the platform from working, including sign-in.
Withdrawing consent stops further collection. Cookies already stored on your device remain until they expire or until you delete them through your browser.
Third parties and international transfers
Some cookies are set by service providers we use for hosting, security, payments, scheduling, customer support, analytics and marketing. Those providers process the data described in the cookie declaration in accordance with their own privacy policies, which we link to where available.
Our platform is hosted in the European Union. Some of our providers are based outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on the appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR, meaning the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses together with supplementary measures. You can request more detail on the safeguards that apply to a specific provider by contacting us.
How long cookies last
Session cookies:: deleted when you close your browser.
Persistent cookies:: remain for a set period, which ranges from one day to two years depending on the cookie. The exact storage duration for each cookie is listed in the declaration in section 4.
Consent records:: retained for 12 months, after which we ask you again.
Age limit
The 2ndCourt platform is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly set statistics or marketing cookies on the basis of consent given by anyone under that age. If you believe a child has used the platform, contact us and we will act on it.
Your rights
Where cookies involve the processing of your personal data, you have the rights set out in the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and the right to withdraw consent. Section 6 covers withdrawal. For everything else, see our Privacy Policy or contact us at support@2ndcourt.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, ip-rs.si).
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our use of cookies changes or when the law requires it. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the consent banner, which will ask for your choices again.
